FINANCIAL AMOUNTS WHICH ARE NOT SOUGHT BY THE RIGHT OWNERS

With respect to the Private Pension System;

Within the scope of the Regulation Amending the Private Pension Regulation which entered into force on 27.12.2018 on the basis of the Private Pension Savings and Investment Law numbered 4632, it is possible to inquiries with respect to the amounts which are not sought by the right owners.

As a result of the inquiry executed via this page, the saving amount with respect to your contract concerning which you have executed the termination transaction shall be subjected to income generation by opening an account which is related with your previous contract within the context of the standard or participation standard pension funds which are in conformity with your final investment preference. If requested by the right owners, the financial amounts available in the account shall be paid to the relevant persons.

In the case where your saving amount is not sought by the relevant owners within 10 years as from the required payment date, your saving amount shall be transferred to the account which is opened before the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey within 6 months as from the year beginning subsequent to the 10th year. These financial amounts which are deposited to the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey shall be recorded as revenue before the Treasury if they are not sought by the relevant owners within 2 years.

With respect to the Life Insurance;

Pursuant to article 33/B of the Insurance Law numbered 5684 which entered into force on 18.04.2013 and the “Regulation on the Financial Amounts Which Are not Sought by the Right Owners Within the Scope of the Insurances Subject to the Private Law Provisions” that was published in the Official Gazette dated 08.10.2013 and numbered 28789, these financial amounts shall be transferred to the Security Account or the institutions which conduct insurance activities within the context of the private law provisions in the case where these amounts are not sought by the right owners until the fifteenth day of June subsequent to the long stop date.

The amounts which are specified within the scope of the above mentioned Regulation shall be published on this page as from the first business day of February.
